OVERVIEW
This chunky sweater has an oversized design for a casual, fashionable look. It brings soft and cozy feeling and accentuate your fragility. Pure comfort!
The Frosty sweater is worked in the round with circular needle, bottom up as far as the armholes. Then the front and back pieces are finished separately, back and forth on circular needle.
The sleeves are worked back and forth with circular needle top-down.
The pieces are sewn together to finish
SIZES: XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL.
This sweater has approx 25 cm (10 inches) of positive easy at the bust.
Finished Sweater measurements: approx. 106-112-118-126-132-138-144 cm or 42-44-46-49-52-54-57 inches.
I wear size S (my bust is 90 cm/ 35 inches).
STITCHES - simple Knit and Purl stitches (Moss stitch, Rib), K2tog (decreases in the sleeves).
YARN - Super chunky yarn is great for beginner knitters. It works up really fast and you can also see what you are doing easily. It is simple to spot and correct any mistakes, and knitting with chunky yarn is generally just a lot of fun.
You can choose the yarn specified in the sweater pattern or something similar enough. I used Crazy Sexy Wool yarn (color Ivory White) for this project.
- “Crazy Sexy Wool” by Wool and the Gang or “The Wool” by We are knitters (100% wool, 200 grams/80 metres).
you will need 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8 skeins for your size.
NEEDLES - circular needles 15 mm (US 19) - 80 cm/ 32 inches total length.
GAUGE - On 6.5 stitches in width and 10 rows vertically you should get 10 x 10 cm/ 4x4 inch piece in Moss stitch.
