Yarn gifting results (and something unexpected)

Yarn gifting results (and something unexpected)

First off, I'm excited to share some good news: the 3 winners who shared their knitting dreams on my YouTube channel, Knit with Julia Piro , are @alwayssearching5129, @margarettsang, @andybartzoka2354. I've already replied to their comments, so I'm just waiting to hear back from them. Thank you!

Sometimes we plan something simple, almost without thinking. And it ends up becoming something much more meaningful.

Originally, I just wanted to send out three bundles of DROPS Belle yarn as a small thank-you to my YouTube community. A gentle gesture to say how much I appreciate all the kind words and steady support over the years.

But as I began reading your comments - your knitting dreams, your thoughtful words, and all the kindness you shared - I realized these weren’t just wishes. They were seeds. Ideas full of possibility. And some of them, I just might be able to bring to life for you in my future designs.

I genuinely loved every part of it. Choosing the yarn, wrapping each parcel with care, and feeling that sense of connection through our shared love of making things by hand. And now I know: I want to do more of this.

Because this is what makes it feel real — being close to the people I’m designing for. ♥️

Behind the scenes, I’m currently filming the final summer tutorial: the Vivien Top.

It’s a simple, quick-to-knit design — something light and easy to wear during these last warm days (at least here in Europe), or perfect for layering under a jacket as the evenings begin to cool.

For this project, I went with DROPS Belle (of course), along with two yarns I hadn’t tried before. Both featured in my free DK yarn guide:

Not every week has to bring a major launch. Sometimes it’s enough to share a thought. A quiet experiment.

Thank you for being part of it.

Warm regards,
