Would you like to test knit the Paradigme sweater?
I’m excited to invite you to test knit my newest design, the Paradigme sweater!
Basta overheating! 🙂 And for the Paradigme Sweater, I chose a cotton-merino blend. Because it still feels cozy, but is much more comfortable to wear indoors.
Paradigme starts as a basic raglan sweater, but I wanted to give the familiar construction a different character. And instead of keeping the raglan lines simply functional, I turned them into the main design feature with lace and bobbles. 🤗
And don’t worry about bobbles under your arms! They are completed before the underarm, so they don’t sit in the armpit area. I’ll also film a short video showing you exactly how I make them.
KEY DETAILS:
Level: Adventurous beginner. Testers should have completed at least 2 garments before.
Deadline: October 30, 2026
Yarn: Light worsted / DK weight
I used Sandnes Garn Duo. You are welcome to use any yarn with approximately 100–120 m per 50 g. A similar option from DROPS is Cotton Merino.
Gauge: 21 sts × 30 rows = 10 × 10 cm in stockinette on 4 mm (US 6) needles
Sizes: XXS–6XL (with positive ease approx. 7 - 18 cm / 2¾ - 7 in)
Modifications: Feel free to customize the pattern as you wish.
Never test knitted before?
You’re absolutely welcome here!
Test knitting is just like working on any other project, but with me and a group of knitters by your side. You’ll get the pattern for free, work through it at your own pace, and ask questions anytime along the way.
You help me by noting any mistakes, typos, unclear instructions etc. It’s a fun, low-pressure way to try something new!

Just one requirement: If I reserve a spot for you, I ask that you commit to doing your best to start and finish on time. I’ll be counting on you!

How to join:
- Please fill out the application form here: (only for Esenotes subscribers)
- I will choose approximately 5-10 test knitters for each size, and we will communicate in a private Ravelry group created for this test. Ravelry is free to use, and registration is simple.
- Please wait to buy your yarn until I confirm your participation.
This time, I would love to include both knitters who have tested for me before and new testers. If you are not selected, please don’t be discouraged. I usually receive many applications and unfortunately can’t accept everyone, even though I would love to. Maybe one day we can have a KAL together where everyone can join!
