Would you like to test knit the Nuance Tee?

Would you like to test knit the Nuance Tee?

Hello, fellow knitter 🌿

I’m excited to invite you to test knit my newest design - the Nuance Tee!

You can head straight to the test call on Ravelry here: (only for Esenotes subscribers)
Or keep reading for the key details.

This tee is a simple, elegant top with a little something extra - a nuance 😊 - a delicate mesh yoke that adds just the right amount of texture and interest without overwhelming the design.

It feels fresh and modern, but still completely approachable. Something you can knit with confidence and wear all summer long.

There is also a basic option for novice knitters who would like to try thinner yarn and circular yoke (it is the same as the First Star Sweater 🙂). This is so far the most well fitted construction in my opinion.

The details:

Deadline: March 31, 2026 (flexible)
Level: Beginner / Adventurous Beginner (you should have knitted at least one garment before)
Yarn: DK weight; I used Sandnes Garn Line. Drops Belle or other plant based yarns (110–120 m per 50 g) will also work.
Gauge: 20 sts × 31 rows = 10 × 10 cm (4 × 4") in stockinette on 4 mm (US 6) needles, after blocking.
Construction: Top down; circular yoke with 5 increase rounds; body and sleeves worked in the round; optional short rows for the basic version.

If you’ve never test knitted before - you’re welcome here! Test knitting is just like working on any other project, but with me and a group of knitters by your side. You’ll get the pattern for free, work through it at your own pace, and ask questions anytime along the way.

You help me by noting any mistakes, typos, unclear instructions etc. It’s a fun, low-pressure way to try something new!

If you’d like to know more about how my test knits work, you can read all the details in my Esenote.

Just one requirement: If I reserve a spot for you, I ask that you commit to doing your best to start and finish on time. I’ll be counting on you! ♥️

How to join:

– Visit the Ravelry thread here: (only for Esenotes subscribers)
(Registration is free and simple.)
– Leave a comment with the size and version you’d like to test
– I’ll send you the Google Docs pattern link via DM
– We’ll knit together in a private group chat: (only for Esenotes subscribers)

The deadline is March 31, 2026.

If you’re curious, motivated, and love the idea of knitting with support, this might be just what you’re looking for.

Looking forward to seeing you on Ravelry! 😊

Warm regards,
