The Drop in Dream sweater is here!
I’m absolutely thrilled to share my latest creation with you: the Drop in Dream Sweater! This special design marks the first in my Esenique Essentials series, crafted for beginners eager to learn how to knit various basic sweaters before diving into more complex patterns.
(Spoiler alert: next up is the First Star Sweater - a basic circular yoke design!)
This classic drop-shoulder sweater features a unique shoulder seam that shifts slightly toward the back. And its unisex design makes it perfect for knitting one for yourself and another for someone special.
Also I’m delighted to let you know that this pattern is now available in German and French!
I feel fortunate to have had a fantastic team of test knitters who brought this pattern to life with their beautiful projects. It’s especially exciting to see some of our Esenotes subscribers among them. If you haven’t joined us yet, I encourage you to consider participating in future test knits.
🧶 Yarn and Inspiration.
For this design, I chose Drops Nepal and Drops Air, both Aran weight yarns (surprise, surprise! 😄). In the video tutorial for this sweater, I’ve shared some other creative options as well.
