A first glimpse of what’s coming in January

I want to give you a small preview of something exciting that’s waiting for us in January 2026. It’s something I promised you a while ago, and yes, it took a bit of time… mostly because I kept knitting “just one more version.” 🤗

Our very first colorwork project will be the Little Peaks Beanie.

I’ve already made 3 versions so far, and I can’t seem to stop. I tell myself, “This is the last one,” but then another yarn color combination catches my eye, and off I go again :)

Today, I also opened the test knit (only for Esenotes subscribers) on Ravelry. This stage is for knitters who already know stranded colorwork and can look at the pattern with experienced eyes. They help me refine the pattern for beginners, making sure every step is clear and easy to follow.

At the same time, I’ll be filming a detailed, step-by-step video tutorial designed especially for adventurous beginners who want to try colorwork for the first time.
